Our PCTC fleet is best described as efficient. From light vehicles, to heavy and bulky cargoes, our ships can meet a wide variety of requirements. With capacity between 2,000 and 8,000 CEU’s, and typically four liftable decks, our ships are easily adaptable to the needs of one trade to another.

Perhaps more prominently, our fleet is big – both in number of ships and the average capacity per ship. The middle-sized ship – the ‘workhorse’ – has a 6,000 CEU capacity and a proven track record in terms of efficiency. These vessels are truly versatile and can operate on any of our trade routes. Our 8,000 CEU ships are amongst the largest in our industry and are true indicators of scale and merit.

Another characteristic of our fleet is its low average age. Ships are continuously being added and in recent years EUKOR has rejuvenated and expanded its fleet, ensuring it is ready to meet the changing requirements of the next decade. For example, our new 7,500 CEU post-Panamax vessels are equipped with all the latest features for cargo and crew safety, as well as having greater cargo-handling capabilities. They are designed to work to their full potential with the widening of the Panama Canal in 2016.
